The main building which houses the restaurant and lounge with rooms above was built at the turn of the century. A second structure, the chalet was built in the 1960's and for most of that time the property was called "Auberge des Quatro Saisons" (Inn of the Four Seasons) and run as a French country resort which was quite a popular place, drawing city dwelling weekenders and summer-long guests from near and far.
